it's not 24.5 inch 1:1 pixel perfect unfortunately. I was strongly considering the PG32UCDP because of the dual-mode, but the lack of a 1:1 pixel perfect 24.5 mode killed it for me. I am currently using the PG27AQDP 480hz which does have the 1:1 24.5 pixel perfect mode, which is 1332p.

A 1:1 pixel perfect 24.5 mode on the PG32UCDP would be like 3000x1680p. Instead the PG32UCDP forces 1080p over that same area and because of pixel density issues ends up looking very blurry and smeared. Whereas, with the PG27AQDP or, for instance, since you mentioned the Pulsar monitors, the XG27AQN

I have the PG32UCDP and I usually run the 1080p 480hz mode just because I like the frame rate boost as I play exclusively fps games. No you won’t be able to run 720hz at anything other than 720p on that tandem monitor so you’d be at 540hz with 1080p. But I really don’t recommend downscaling a 2k mon

One thing that noone else seems to be bringing up: you might have a defective panel. Perhaps consider sharing a screenshot somewhat close-up from it, so we can judge the text and graphics quality? Myself, I once owed a PG32UCDP, so, WOLED instead of QD-OLED, the flicker gave me headaches and nausea
