If you want a tablet-laptop hybrid that can play games and also be a work machine, consider getting the Asus ROG Flow Z13 (2025).

Indeed. Regarding tech channels in general, I'm sort of annoyed how each one of them try to push the same talking points. As examples: A friend recently moved from an Apple MBP (M1, 2020) to an ROG Z13 Flow, a device that really made sense because he wanted something that can play games, use creativ

Don't feel bad about not understanding CPU names, they intentionally obfuscate the meaning these days. Also, you shouldn't need to worry about getting Linux working, everything Framework ships is compatible. The Framework 12 only has Intel i3 and i5 13th gen mobile U processors available. While comp

If you have to carry all that stuff, just get a good gaming laptop. Otherwise, if you want even more portability, then get the Asus Rog Flow Z13. It's pretty expensive, but it will play every game at laptop 4070 level.

You're literally asking high specs in a small package, the most powerful I know of is the ROG Flow Z13 with Ryzen HX395+(RTX 4060 levels of performance), which is like the Surface Pro a tablet with a keyboard. The smaller you go the harder it is to cool and power it. Keep in mind, more powerful chip

At that point you may as well buy an Asus ROG Flow z13 tablet and slap a telescopic phone game controller on it (which I have done.) Asus at least has domestic warranty service if anything goes wrong (not that Asus warranty service is great or anything… lol.)

Got the 5090 XG in last week. Two day shipping was a nice surprise. Literally plug and play for my 2025 Z13. Maxed out High/Ultra settings on everything I’ve tried thus far. I have a Razer eGPU setup I was using for an older Razer gaming laptop and this is much quieter and takes up far less space th

I own an Z13. If you look at price to performance ratio you can get a gaming laptop with higher specs. The advantage of Z13 is the portability. It is super lightweight like a tablet. But you can't use it like a tablet, since the air intakes are below the device. But you can game from anywhere if you

Battery life? LOL. I have a ROG Flow Z13. Amazing device. But it needs a lot more watts to play lighter titles than my Steam Deck does.

I stand by the z13 and I also have the ally x. Everything I’ve ever said about this device I stand by formally and firmly.
