I love my steam deck but I’ve got one huge problem

Probably a bit blasphemous to say in the Steam Deck subreddit, but the ROG Ally X has a left stick position that would likely work better for you. IMO comfort is king with handhelds so I would consider switching to a different handheld instead of trying to find solution for Steam Deck

Ally X vs Xbox Ally X

The improvements are: Better ergonomics (makes a big difference in user experience) 25% better performance at 17W; 13% better at 25W Better bass in the speakers Better haptics Auto SR upscaling (which just released but doesn’t seem to work very well) Those are all the differences. Everything else is

Switch 2 or xbox Rog allay

Had an Xbox rog ally x, sold it because it was much easier just to play on my switch 2 ( lighter in weight and didnt have to mess around with settings for every game ) Xbox def more powerful but you still have to fiddle settings, deal with windows and I feel it's no longer needed with the third part

My Ergonomic Grips V1 update

How’s the progress going? Do you have an Xbox rog ally x to compare the handles to? If you could make them like that. That would be amazing

Is a LCD Steam Deck in 2026 a bad move?

Unpopular opinion coming. Its only a bad move if you dont enjoy using it. I dont have a steam deck but an ROG Ally X. I bought it based on what kind of games I play plus other uses. So if it works for your needs and youre happy with how it handles, then sounds like a good investment. My coworker jus

Lenovo Legion Go 1 vs Rog Ally X, is there much difference?

If you're never going to play games that need the 24 GB RAM and rarely if ever plan to dock the device. The Legion Go is probably the better looking device. I picked it because it's more modular and when it's all said and done, I could just use it as a tablet and people would be none the wiser (It a

Choosing the right handheld

Rog ally X is probably the best relative price to performance deal used... Legion Go is all over the place with prices but if you can find a legion go S Z1E with 32 GB RAM, that seems to be the value and comfort pick. Though in the legion go sub, people have reported issues where their trigger fell
