AMD Throws Loyal Radeon Customers Into The Trash
Aka: The Steam deck but with Asus and Xbox branding for more edit: Ryzen Z2 A GPU (CPU is listed in notes) and Steam Deck GPU (CPU in console notes) If you lot look at this and think its not the same Chip, you're an idiot and believing Microsofts crappy advertising. Same architecture, same GPU name,

Stuck between 2 options, please help!
People are overstating the performance difference - it’s 25% better at 17W and 13% better at 25W. However, I’d still go for an XAX. I’ve seen countless stories on r/ROGAlly about people’s Allys having defects, build quality issues, getting fucked by Asus warranty service, etc. Seems like the XAX is

I’m impressed with Xbox Mode
I have not owned an Ally for a while but when I did you had to update in Armory Crate, Windows Update and MyAsus. They have moved all those to Armory Crate now? I have to say this is one of the reasons I moved back to the SteamOS. None of the games I run need Windows and it's just so much easier to

Do you think Asha Sharma is gonna successfully pull xbox ahead of playstation? Sony is already working overtime to help her with that, but it won't be easy
I have an Xbox ally and an Xbox series x, if the next console they bring out imitates what they're trying to do with the Xbox ally then I'll be ditching Xbox for a SteamOS machine. I can't fucking stand windows and the full screen thing they have in the Xbox allys is just a decoy for the bullshit of

choosing a console to buy to play persona games
I'd suggest a handheld gaming PC like a Legion GO, Asus ROG Ally, MSI Claw, but there is a bit of a learning curve you might not want to deal with. There's also the Steamdeck which is more beginner friendly, but none of these options have the ease of use of a console. I've played Persona 3 through 5

Why is the Rog ally (og white one) making my hands go numb
Because the device's design is a disaster in terms of ergonomics. It's way too flat and doesn't provide any grip for your hands. The Steam Deck handles this better. I recommend these grips from Breed Gaming, or one of the many custom 3D-printed parts that address this issue.
