ProArt Display 27" 5K HDR Professional Monitor (PA27JCV)

Check out the Asus ProArt PA27JCV, a 5K HDR panel with a pixel density of 218 ppi, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C, and excellent color calibration. For €700. To say that text is sharp on a 4K screen would be a lie; this resolution isn't native on Macs, unlike 5K.

As others have mentioned, at least have a look at the ASUS ProArt 5K (PA27JCV). I've used one for a year and a half and am perfectly happy. At $700, it's a pretty hard to beat value for hitting that 5K.
