ProArt Display 27" 5K HDR Professional Monitor (PA27JCV)

Check out the Asus ProArt PA27JCV, a 5K HDR panel with a pixel density of 218 ppi, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C, and excellent color calibration. For €700. To say that text is sharp on a 4K screen would be a lie; this resolution isn't native on Macs, unlike 5K.

Asus ProArt PA27JCV seems to be a good choice for a 27” 5K monitor. I’m also hesitating to buy a Studio Display because I also still use a Windows PC for gaming and I need a monitor with more than one input port. The Dell is probably the best option for your use case, but in your position I’d look at either the BenQ MA270U, it’s designed specifically to color manage and be controlled by macOS similar to an Apple display, or the Asus ProArt 5K monitor (PA27JCV) which will provide a native 218 PPI for macOS. Not anymore, Asus PA27JCV has USB-C 96W Power Delivery, has 5K display, color calibrated from factory and costs under 800$, I bought one on sale for 599$.
