Global OLED Monitor Shipments Surge 65% YoY in 3Q25, Redefining Market Landscape, Says TrendForce

Remember when the definition of a good HDR gaming monitor was the ASUS PG32UQX, which was a 1152-zone MiniLED monitor for $3,000? Those were dark days.

Anyone switch from QD-OLED to Mini LED for brightness and colors, even in a dark room?

The colors aren't as vibrant as a QD-OLED, but a good mini-LED like the Q27G3XMN managed to be in-between a WOLED and a QD-OLED in terms of color volume (during brighter scenes at least). Brightness is still an improvement for HDR even in dark rooms, I use a 321URX (same panel as your AW3225QF) and

Display Ninja reviewed the KTC M27P6

I bought Koorui S2741LM which i think uses same panel, and considering the price it is a very good monitor. Just to put things into perspective, my previous monitor was Acer Predator X27 which cracked in an accident. I then purchased ASUS PG32UCDM and was blown away by its size (considering the X27

State of MiniLED monitors

I mean, you kinda get what you pay for. Mini-LED runs from like $250 for the entry-level 27" to over $3000 for the ProArt series. I'm not shocked that it's not performing as well as the apple screen that probably cost 3x as much. If you're looking for 27" specifically, try the Acer XV275K for 4k or

Apple Studio Display XDR White Paper

I mean, the PG32UQX has around 10ms of extra input lag when driving the HDR backlight of a Mini-LED display (compared to having a constant backlight level in SDR mode) while using the Altera Arria 10 FPGA, if the measurements taken by PCMonitors.info are anything to go by. A monitor that features an

What is currently the best mini led Monitor

BenQ EX321UX is the one with the highest color gamut and volume tested iirc, it's my current recommendation for gaming+work, it kicks OLED's ass when it comes to that, it's better on paper than the PG32UQX. If you need higher LUT, 12bit, thunderbolt etc, then the PA32UCG exists, , i've seen it for a

I want real HDR for PC gaming. I want it without the hassle. Does that mean QD-OLED or Mini-LED?

Unfortunately nearly all the good Mini-LED monitors are 27" right now which sounds like it's too small for you. The only exception I'm aware of is the PG32UQX but it's pretty overpriced for the performance. Frankly it sounds like you might just be better off going with a 42" TV and using it like a m

What should I get? IPS or mini-led?

I believe for a reasonable price and those specs (size limits so many options) there is only the 32M2N6800M/00 from Philips. The other 32" models are all VA and all the other IPS (PG32UQX not included because it is super expensive) are 27". But personally i didnt like the algorhythm of the Philips,
