Unpopular Opinion: I Don't Care for new CES 2026 Monitors When Real G-Sync is Missing

Asus ROG PG32UQX and ViewSonic XG321UG are the only two Mini LED monitors ever created with real G-Sync in the modern era of 1000+ MINI LED Zones. They do not have PWM flicker, VRR flicker, Local Dimming glitches, or firmware bugs. Virtually every Mini LED monitor besides those 2, has issues.

OLED Vs IPS Difference

For me budget or not, I am never buying OLED ever… I spent a fortune on my monitor (PG32UQX) which is still one of the best mini LED IPS displays out there (4K 144Hz Gsync ultimate and 1400 HDR)… I absolutely don’t regret the purchase one bit even though there were OLED options. I view lot of static

Is the Asus PG32UQX still the best mini led right now

TCL 27R83U might be comparable, but nobody has really done a heads to head comparison. It's not got the G-Sync ultimate module (which is what makes the local dimming algorithm on the PG32UQX so good) but it has the same number of zones and is VA instead of IPS so the native contrast is better There

ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM is Now Available! 31.5" 4K QD-OLED, 240Hz, Delta E<1, HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, Thunderbolt 4 PD 96W and DaisyChain, HDMI 2.1, Auto Calibration, Ambient Light Sensor, OLED Care, Calman Ready, ColourSpace Integration, DisplayWidget Center for Windows and macOS

This is why we will never get the sorts of monitors we wish we can get. The idea a monitor such as this costing that price is considered epensive, is just insane. In 2025 where everything costs an arm and a leg, it's $1900 for these specs. Four years ago, their PG32UQX, (gaming line, so not professi

Do you think we'll finally get some good Mini-LED monitors in 2026?

I've had the PG32UQX for years and it's insane that this is still the best monitor for my gaming demands. Beats all of my OLEDs for HDR gaming by far and it's ancient. Makes me disappointed in the monitor market and the lack of high end development. Even the OLED's are sticking to mid end. I want an

PG32UCDM vs Studio Display XDR

I think the best gaming monitor for HDR generally is still the ASUS PG32UQX. Btw I tried the Koorui S2741LM briefly and it was a great monitor in HDR especially for the price, extremely close to the ASUS PG32UQX which I found used on a great deal that I cannot pass, and sold the S2741LM to a friend,

ASUS ROG Swift PG32UQXR 32-inch, 4K 160Hz VRR, MiniLED [Now available in US]

It's worse in about every aspect. No Gsync, less dimming zones, and one post here mentions flicker from PWM, whilst the PG32UQX was confirmed to have sweet sweet DC.

They won't save me, only something in the afterlife can do that. ^_^ But they will enhance my gaming experience quite a LOT By offering me a monitor that can run all of the following features at the same time: HDR1400 VESA certified + 1000 Local Dimming Zones + VRR + Motion Blur Reduction, all at th

What's the best non oled money can buy?

The PG32UQX is still the best miniled monitor. It's a shame Asus hasn't bothered trying to make something better yet.
