so - one of these is a 4k 240hz tandem 1080p 480hz, the other one is tandem 1440p 540hz, 720p 720hz what are the specs of your system? is it even capable of 4k 240hz or 1440p 540hz?? in FPS games you usually want faster refresh rate, in story games you usually want the best visuals - on paper the 14

Thanks for all the help, also I think I solved the issue, it seems that my ASUS ROG PG27AQDP 1440p 480Hz monitor was crashing my pc by using the HDMI cable, it seems switching to DP cable has fixed this, only time will tell for sure, but I AFK'd for quite some time and it should've crashed by now bu

Thanks for the info. I’ve tried 2 high end monitors so far. The Asus PG27AQDP which runs super smooth on pc and the Samsung Odyssey G8, both Oled with vrr. I’ll probably buy the 2025 ps5 pro model, there might be an issue with the first release model

I haven't had a single monitor break, ever. My current ones are 1, 5 and 11 years old. The most recent is an Asus ROG Swift PG27AQDP, the 5 year old one is an Asus ROG Strix XG279Q while the oldest is an MSI 24 inch 144hz VA monitor. All 3 work perfectly.
