Better router with hunter fiber?
Don't forget about Asus routers. I have always used those with no issues. Currently using a Asus Rapture ROG GT BE98 PRO Quad Band wifi 7 router. In a Ranch style home with great coverage. It's pricey at $700 if not on sale. I got mine around 7 months so ago from Amazon for $630. Could be lower now,

Router that will easily support 3+ 4k streams plus game streaming?
Did you try the Asus GT-BE98 Pro or the Asus GT-BE19000AI routers? I have the Asus GT-BE98 Pro and can personally attest to it having far reach for its 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks.

Is UniFi Overkill?
I was in the same situation as you when I got fiber in a ranch style home. I just wanted to leave the setup in the office/game room and not have to mount the access point in the middle of then house. I researched and bought Unifi Cloud Gateway Fiber and the wifi 7 access point. Tested out the wifi a

Buying a firewalla
Have had a Gold Plus and 3 AP7s for about a month now. APs are mounted on ceilings (10 ft). Two story house, approximately 4,500 sq. ft. I haven't had any issues with range, and they also get decent reach outside the house. Previously had an ASUS GT-BE98 Pro AiMesh setup with even more devices than

Can anyone recommend any routers from Asus? Thoughts on GT-BE98 PRO?
I have the GT-BE98 pro for a few months now. Pros- Multiple 10gbe and 2.5gbe is very nice and works as intended. The asus firmware is great as far as OEM firmware goes, it has pretty much everything you could ask for (port forwarding, DDNS built in, VPN built in, much more). Range on the wifi is sol

Will this work in my place
Yes I'm already using a Asus GT-BE98 Pro. The WiFi 7 6GHz networks just don't reach my bedroom though. And I just wanted to add ethernet into my bedroom.

Replacement router questions
Honestly not. Get your own router. I’m it sure why STARLINK is only using WiFi 6 but at least future proof yourself with something WiFi 7. I used my router for maybe a week and wasn’t comfortable at all with how hot it got so I got my own. Mine is overkill but it’s read for anything. I have an ASUS
