I've had a couple of ascaso machines, currently own the dream oud, but had the steel duo. Only complaint I've ever had was temperature calibration not being done from the factory. Never experienced any other issue and always recommend ascaso.

Ascaso Steel Duo all the way, it's a more capable machine and consumes significantly less energy. The v2 offers solid steaming power, not as powerfull as a dedicated boiler, but more than capable of steaming silky milky. Short answer (my opinion): If you are more traditional or casual with your espresso then go with the Ascaso. If you are more creative or like to experiment with your espresso then get the Fellow ES1.
