Buy an espresso machine that's 5K or save up for a better one in the future?

This is the one advice, OP, that you should take to heart. Start with a good grinder, grind your beans fresh. Tapos kahit entry level espresso machine, like say a Delonghi Dedica, Ascaso Dream, or a Bambino Plus, okay na yun. Makakapag produce na yun ng good enough espresso kung maganda na yung grin

Constant Single/Double Shots Flashing [Bambino Plus]

For a thermoblock only machine the next step up outside of Breville is Ascaso Dream One but those are around 1.5k in the US

Confusion about Ascaso range [Budget €1500]

I haven't seen the version without the PID in the name. Even the cheaper Ascaso Dream has a PID. For that price, an espresso machine without a PID is not worth it IMO

Minimalist Set Up

The Ascaso Dream is the best value. Get the Steel if you want a larger water reservoir and drip tray etc. I bought the H64 specifically because it's pretty quiet (just had a baby) and grinds come out fluffy and no need for RDT but honestly is not the best value compared to the DFs and Timecores etc.

PID vs non-PID real world experiences? How much does it matter?

Cool, yeah, I just went through info again and you're absoltuely correct, it does indeed have a "real" PID. Glad to hear my choice validated. :D The Ascaso looks like a great machine as well, but I got the Stone for hundreds less than the Steel PID and $600 less than the Dream PID!

[$500-2500] Help me find a new simple/durable/fast dual boiler machine?

My ascaso dream pid as well heats up so fast I've never found myself wishing I had a dual boiler. They're good I guess if you are making 8+ lattes for a dinner party but even then.. I just dump steam out the group head and temperature falls fast.

Mittelklasse Empfehlung

Which profitec should I buy [$1500]

The Go is the only Profitec I've seen in that budget. I had been torn between the Ascaso Dream, Lelit Victoria, and Profitec Pro myself. Ended up saving a few hundred by going with the Elizabeth, and I love everything about it except the hoses they chose to pump water from the tank. It's a kind of s

1 millionth time this has been asked [$1000]

Oh man that's funny I was looking at the Ascaso Dream before I decided on this one. I went with this one after a ton of review reading and looking into everything between the two. This one just had more features and compared to the Dream with PID this was way cheaper. But honestly it's a solid machi
