My setup thanks to this sub.
Im using the out-of-the-box Steam Remote Play, but i had to turn off "hardware encoding" for it to be reliable. Cant remember why that was a thing. Wired PC Wi-Fi connected Steam Deck Monitor is ARZOPA 16.1'' 144Hz Portable Gaming Monitor - this was highly recommended on this sub - just search it if

My dual-screen remote work solution
I just checked. I’ve been running my Arzopa A1 Gamut Slim as an under counter tv daily since Nov 2023. That said, I switched to a Samsung Tablet running Duet-USB because after a month on the road, the Arzopa showed wear and I was scared I was beating up the LCD.

Best portable monitor for travel, work, and studying?
I got a 13” Arzopa monitor off Amazon for like $60 and it’s been great. You can get larger and better resolution monitors as well - I just wanted something extremely lightweight that I can throw in a backpack

Portable monitor recommendations?
I got a couple no-name portable monitors made by ARZOPA and they're "decent."Both 1080p, I've had a 60hz one for several years now and it hasn't crapped out on me, picked up a 120hz model a couple months ago. The 120hz one has a kickstand that lets you set it up vertically as well.

What cheap monitors do y’all recommend for my SD?
Get yourself a 1080p 120 hz monitor call it a day. Arzopa is great I have a 144 hz portable monitor from then that plays nicely with the deck got for around 130 I believe. Don't bother going above 1080p though unless you'll be using it with another more powerful device.

Zero regrets on buying the Steam Deck
Not the OP, pero I have been using the Ugreen 9 in 1 dock pero mejo overkill kasi di ko naman ginagamit yung SD card slots. For most use case, pwede na yung 6 in 1 dock nila. Yung monitor ko naman is the Arzopa A1 so portable din sya.

Portable monitor experiences?
Ok here we are. I have Arzopa 15.6. Worked like charm if using type-c with PD. I often use it with Intel NUC. else you can use with HDMI and power it with some nice 3A charger. cheap - vibrant colors and has sound. Around 10K. Thin enough Drawback: Feels the stand at back is just fimsy so use Portro
