My Series 11 Apple Watch Hermes’ grand H
Nope. Apple Watch can last up to 8 or so years from my experience. My series 1 still worked perfect in 2025 even Apple Pay and fitness features. I let my mom use it for a year and she loved it so I upgraded her to series 10 last year. Plus I pay apple care for my Hermes’ series 11 (minimal cost) so

Garmin or Apple Watch
Having owned a Series 10 42mm (the smallest battery), I can assure you it holds its charge very well. Mine is 10 months old and still generally has at least 50% battery after 24 hours of use (sleep tracking, physical activity, often with GPS, and everything else). I had a Garmin Venu 3 before, but I

Thinking of Moving from apple watch to garmin...
I’ve been on the same fence, but here’s my take. And before anyone comes for me, this is for my personal circumstance and if you feel Garmin is better suited for you, then you should totally do that. That said, if I’m missing something, I am open to having my mind changed. Right now my Apple Watch S

Do you actually use your Apple Watch daily or only for workouts?
I wear mine roughly 23 hours a day, taken off only for charging and showering. It tracks my sleep among other things. It's a ridiculously accurate time source that's always right (including handling daylight savings time), it gives me notifications that are less intrusive than the iPhone, and closin

Why should I?
The only reason you’d get the Ultra would be for dual GPS for running. I doubt you’re a deep sea diver. Extra day or two of battery life is nice but not worth double the price. Everything else including a larger screen can be found on the regular Apple Watch Series 10.

Weekly Buying/trading/selling advice, pre-orders and shipping Megathread
Hi all, I am considering upgrading my series6 aluminum gps only watch. I use my watch mainly for fitness tracking. I found a series 10 at Costco for 279 (gps only, I wanted the cellular for $349, but they sold out). Would you go with that one for the discount, or do you think getting the newer serie

Goodbye Amazfit
The Ultra? It’s right on par with my T-Rex 3 in terms of dimensions and weighs 2g less (I weighed both with bands on). But to each their own. I’m not telling you to get an Apple Watch. I’m simply commenting that in practice if you shower daily the battery life is not a factor. Prior to the Ultra 3 I

41 or 45? Or neither?
Left the Apple ecosystem as well and I was all in. Got tired of the lack of innovation and fragmented experience with AI. Google's ecosystem has been more on point for my music preferences. Apple Music and all that non-sense was suggesting music way outside my genre such as derogatory club music, et

How can I ensure my goal pace and cadence when running outside?
Those of you telling me to get a watch. I have an Apple Watch series 11. That’s how I’m able to track my real time/ more accurate pace and cadence than the treadmill readings.

switched from apple watch
I have an Apple Watch series 11 with its own plan. I find myself using most of the time, messages (receiving and sending), occasional phone calls (when phone isnt around), weather, music, calendar, timer, and of course fitness tracking. What would I be missing if I switched over? I know it does not
