I'm sure some folks want more performance even at higher power. But, IMO, that should be resesrved for desktops. Or at least give us an option to throttle just the CPU. As NBC writes and I agree on 1T power (Cinebench is just one example; seeing the power draw of the "everyday" loads would be great)

Dev Focused 13 Pro Review
The FW 13 Pro has a 74wh battery so a bit longer, but I don't see the point you are making. The MacBook M5 Pro 14 inch can sustain max CPU load unplugged at ~40 watts on its 72wh battery which is under 2 hours.
