The issue with M3 Pro (Pro specifically - not Max) is that apple changed core structure from 8p/4e cores to 6p/6e cores. Since logic can’t leverage efficiency cores efficiently, M3 Pro underperforms compared to M1/2 Pro with more performance cores.
