Apple Launches $599 MacBook Neo, Threatening Windows PC Market

Damn I’m still using a MacBook Air from 2015 that hasn’t been able to update in years. The battery is almost toast. I don’t have an office job and really just use my computer for Reddit and YouTube. This Neo might get me to cave and replace it.

Is there basically no difference between apple refurbished and brand new?

Yes, it’s either an unsold/returned product or a defective product that has been refurbished, all with new battery and outer casing, tested to perform like new, and with 1-year limited warranty. Bought a MacBook Air M3 1TB SSD and an iPhone 13 mini from the refurbished store and they work perfectly

Apple's $599 MacBook Neo Sold Out Through April 2026 Amid Surging Demand

Imo Apple has been no slouch at figuring out what consumers care about and giving it to them. Over a decade ago I bought my first Apple laptop because the MacBook Air had the best battery life on the market, and it wasn’t even close. As a bonus, it also had great build quality and was conveniently v

MacBook Neo’s battery life?

Scrap using Mozilla or chrome They’ll eat your battery life Certainly use them for a need but not all day or when battery life matters I can use my MacBook Air 7 hours at work, teams, outlook, windows app for rdp and zscaler and I get home with 65% battery remaining

Windows 10 Deadline Boosts Mac Sales

The MacBook Air base model, is the "best deal in computing right now." For around $1K there is a lot of competition, but the 13"/M4/16 GB/256 GB absolutely blows most of it away. It is just a very high quality and powerful laptop that will last you a long time. I've seen it commonly for $50 off reta

Tim Cook isn't going to get fired, and Steve Jobs isn't rolling over in his grave

Am I the only one still blown away when I use my m4 MacBook Air and my m3 max MacBook Pro? The battery life, speed and lack of heat still boggles my mind. That may be because I remember a time when having more than one browser open lagged your whole computer.

New iPhones See 'Stronger Than Expected' Demand With One Exception

The first MacBook Air sucked. It was underpowered, temperamental, and the battery barely lasted through lunch. My dad always warned us to never buy the first model year, but I didn’t listen. Source: I owned one.

The A18 Pro MacBook has a trick up its sleeve... battery life.

They absolutely won’t give their cheapest laptop the longest battery life. For marketing reasons alone. This thing will likely cannibalize MacBook Air sales by existing, no need to make it worse

Microsoft Says 'We're Faster Than a Mac' in Latest Windows PC Ad

I recently switched from a top end $3000 legion gaming laptop to a $1500 MacBook Air and the MacBook Air is on par with my legion in basically everything except gaming and its battery lasts me all day with moderately heavy usage.
