You might be thinking, "Isn't this a repost? We just talked about this review." No, my friends, that was the MacBook Air 13 M5. This is the MacBook Air 15 M5. Super different. Unheard of. Two interesting notes: The N1 chip is pretty good, slightly edging out Intel BE201, Broadcom 14E4, and the Qualc

This is probably a decent argument for a 15” neo— apple loves their ladder pricing. $699 neo 13” aA18p/8/512 -> $899 neo 15” a19p/12/512 -> $1099 MBA 13 -> $1299 MBA 15 Wouldn’t have the built in EDU market, but lots of older folks want a larger screen. Maybe we’ll see it in six months.

24 GB of for nothing else resale value. People are starting to wake up to the fact that older Mac’s with more memory run better longer. Some of us older farts have known that for decades. My son does all his work on a MBA M1 13 inch with 16 GB. He teaches AI and is part of the leadership team in a w

For the same price of $1899 the MBP will have better internal specs, screen, speakers, etc. But I wouldn’t buy a MBP that didn’t have a Mx Pro chip, as the specs bump up with the higher chip. You refer to making the Air "comparable in price" to the Pro, but that’s not realistic overall. Use Apple's

I have a home office, but like to work elsewhere, like a coffee shop, at least once per day for a couple of hours. So I have used multiple monitors for years, and want that when I'm out and about. I had a 15" portable USB-C monitor for my M2 MBA 15-inch. It was blurry and the colors were awful. I've

Obviously the cheapest option is the best in this case. I would 100% take a refurbished one over a new one. If you’re not in a rush you could also check out Refurb-tracker.com to get notified when a 24 GB/1 TB M5 air becomes available, but that’s probably a few months away. Could also consider than

As an MBA 15 inch (M5) owner I'd even be tempted to get a Neo at that point to take out the house with me I know this would be obscenely wasteful but I love the colours.

My MBA has 2 USBc ports just like my Thinkpad, which also has 2 USBs, but i never use them and don’t need them. Also my Thinkpad must use one of its 2 USBc ports for the power supply. Mac book has magsafe, freeing up the 2nd USBc. MB does not have am HDMI port and does need the dongle which also has
