RTX 5090 + M4 MacBook Air: Can it Game?
They get it running which is a massive achievement and they've done a fantastic job documenting the problems and bottlenecks they encountered. It will only get easier, someone will distill it down to a few clicks. And the results are very interesting too, the M-series chips excel at 720p and 1080p g

Should I get a Macbook Neo or a used thinkpad?
I have only used ThinkPads and never thought I would get a Mac, having an overpriced Intel device to simply run an unix-like system was nuts to me. But now, objectively speaking, there is no PC that can compete with apple on budget-to-spec match. I would love to have Apple Silicon on any ThinkPad, w

Need an opinion on MacBook Air vs a windows laptop (college)
Got for MacBook Air M4, it would last you longer also any college level project work it can easily handle. Also MacBook is bad for gaming ! so it will make sure you use it for study :D But Mac would easily last your longer without compromise on performance

Any lightweight laptops suggestions?
I absolutely hate MacOS with a passion. I use Windows and Linux computers on a daily basis. BUT I recently got a new MacBook Air M4 15" because I needed something that performed well with good battery life and decided to try a modern Mac on a whim and holy cow, while I still get frustrated with MacO

Microsoft: August Windows updates cause severe streaming issues
That’s what I did this year. Microsoft told me that my Windows 10 laptop won’t be supported anymore and I need to upgrade. So I upgraded to a new and shiny MacBook Air M4 😏

Are MacBooks still the most durable laptops?
It really depends on what you need. MacBook have become much easier to recommend in the last few years, especially on the low end. Need a good laptop for everyday to mid performance tasks, MacBook air M4 is an insanely good value. However if you need a laptop with more than 32GB ram and heavy proces

Mac Pro Metal not too far behind M3 Ultra
Advantages of Apple silicon are evident, but this doesn’t mean that Intel-based Macs are necessarily dead nor useless. Totally different machine…but just to illustrate this isn’t true only for top high end Macs: I use for work an MBA M4 32GB 1TB while at home my main machine is an iMac 27” 2019 i9 1

Keep me from moving to apple: Linux laptop with similar performance to a macbook air m5 about 1000Euros
My computers: xps desktop running void linux thinkpad x1cg6 running void linux macbook air m4 (weaker cpu version) I love linux. I don’t like apple. It just doesn’t compare, though. Seems like you value good design, high performance, and light weight and… I mean you can get two of those things from
