Asus Co-CEO: MacBook Neo Is a 'Shock' to the PC Industry

Yup, that's how I got roped into the Apple ecosystem. I was a die hard Linux user for so many years, I loved hacking and ricing, and hated Apple's walled garden. Then I got the cheap $250 iPad for note-taking in college, and thought it was really nice, so I also bought an iPhone for my next phone a

Need advice! Should I get a iPad for drawing? If so which one?

I would say either an iPad with at least 256GB of storage, usb c port & support for either Apple Pencil 2 or Apple Pencil Pro So I would suggest either iPad Air (5th (M1), 6th (M2), 7th (m3) & 8th (m4)) or an iPad Pro (5th (M1), 6th (m2), 7th (M4) & 8th (M5)) I would strongly recommend m4 iPad Pro w

Is the iPad Air (M3) that much better than the iPad A16?

iPad Air has M processor, 8GB RAM, Apple Pencil 2 support, laminated display with better colour support and anti-reflective coating, and the ability to use Apple Stage Manager on an external display. Even a refurbished M1 iPad Air (direct from Apple online store) is better than the recent base iPad.

IPAD OR TABLET

i've owned both android tablets and ipads for long term use. the xiaomi screen is gorgeous but ipados will feel way more consistent 3 years from now. gaming on ipad is smoother because devs optimize for apple silicon first - mlbb runs great. for studying, notability and goodnotes on ipad are miles a

I take it all back, the MovinkPad Pro 14, using Sunshine and Moonlight instead of the Instant Pen Display beta, becomes a perfectly usable, wireless, Cintiq-like device, even for 3D work

I'll link the stuff that you need if you're on Windows, there's this reddit post about setting up Sunshine and Virtual Display Driver (though I don't use MultiMonitor as VDD supports custom resolutions, it's a bit annoying to get the virtual screen to share to the tablet sometimes)If you want to use

Should I buy ipadA16?

Buy it. It's good especially on sale. New one even if it comes out this year will be at full msrp for a while which will be more expensive. If you were gonna buy the new one at full marp, you might as well go get an iPad Air M2 or M3 now which is usually around $400 and will still be better than the

Is it worth upgrading from a iPad Air Gen 5

Since Apple introduce the new chassis for the Air; The iPad Air 4 (2020) uses A14, while the iPad Air 5 (2022) have the M1. Then if you’re saying you got the M2, thats iPad Air 6 (2024) and you’re saying you wanted to get the iPad Air 7 (2025) that have the M3? Not worth it bro. M2 is enough for Arc

ipad switch?? help!

Unfortunately Apple no longer offers anything between the 11inch and the Mini. I think that for note taking, you’ll appreciate the 11inch size, because while it’s not as portable as the mini, it’s a great size to jot down notes and get school work done. If you can I’d recommend checking them out in

need advice: iPad Air 5th gen vs A16 iPad

For digital art, the iPad Air line with the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen will be better than the USB-C Pencil, because it has pressure sensitivity. However, you said you could get an adapter for your current pencil… does that mean you have the 1st generation Lightning pencil with pressure sensitivity? If so

Which gen is the oldest you’d purchase? (for a teen)

Get the 10th gen or the iPad Air 4. Both are great devices, the Air 4 is slightly better for drawing though. If you could afford it, the iPad Air 5 is the best option, it has the M1 processor which is very powerful and will handle everything. I am using it right now.
