The Air 5. Nicer screen and M1. The M series chips are the future, I think. More and more features are available only to the M chips. (Unless you’re a clumsy fruit and have a habit of dropping iPads, in which case the A16 iPad has a much cheaper to replace screen.)

That's a solid deal. I had the same model and the M1 is pretty fast with plenty of memory for multitasking. The major downside of this model is the cheap non-OLED display but honestly at that price who cares. It's still a fairly bright 500 nits panel with good colors although black will be more grey

If you do have a computer the iPad is the best option but if you if you don’t then I’d prefer the MacBook. I bought a macbook pro after have my iPad… I have an old macbook Pro from 2013 that still works perfectly for my use… and have an iPad Air 5 m1… I don’t recommend anymore to anyone buy this iPa

The 11th gen iPad (A16)received a refresh last year and is priced at $349. It should continue receiving software updates until around 2031 or 2032.
