What the hell is going on at apple - iPadOS is a bloody mess.
It takes my iPad 9th gen to zero % battery overnight. Never had this problem until updating to OS 26. I did send a message to Apple. Starting the transition back to Android with a new Galaxy tablet.

Ipad screen problem
the screen acting crazy while charging is a classic sign of physical damage messing with the digitizer especially when there's extra electrical flow. with battery at 66% too you're kinda stuck. check what model it is first if it's older than an iPad 9th Gen repair costs often exceed the value. a bat

What should I do?
Should be fine to plug in and see how bad it really is. Realistically fixing a first gen 11 will likely be more than buying a 9th gen or 10th gen around facebook or whatnot since price is an issue. If you really need the PRO series for the editing features....I'd look into cloud based options for su
