Report: New iPad with A18 chip still on track to launch in first half of 2026
And I’m still on 9th gen I have two iPad 9th gen as well, which have 3 GB of RAM. Compared to our iPad 9th Gen, the upcoming iPad 12 gen is expected to have 8 GB RAM, 2x performance and 2x storage. I think we'll be upgrading. I use mine for reading, which reading is fine, but I manage so many books

Procreat/Ipad recommendations
for procreate you really want apple pencil 2 support - the magnetic charging is a game changer. ipad 9th gen works but uses the old pencil 1 which charges awkwardly. sweet spot is iPad Air 4 or iPad Pro 2018 11-inch. both run procreate perfectly, have pencil 2 support, and go for $300-400 refurbishe

iPadOS 26 has ruined my iPad experience
Same, my iPad 9th gens became a stuttering mess scrolling any social media feed on iOS26 and there are so many glitches with the keyboard and Safari; apps reloading all the time multitasking - I won't get another Apple device I've had enough.

iOS 26.3 Features: Everything New in iOS 26.3
looks at comments for any useful information sees that everyone is commenting how Apple users are never satisfied, are too stupid to even know what they want and people responding to others' posts just to imply they are stupid and that the new iOS is actually just fine/very bad *posts mild snark com

Hello, MacBook Neo
This is a tempting replacement for my aging iPad 9th gen. I never really used the Apple pencil much and I would rather have Mac OS than the sloppy hybrid iPad OS.

The game keeps crashing.
I've played since launch mostly on a variety of iPads and this has been a constant problem for me until recently. I think the game is just poorly optimised for the relatively low RAM present in Apple devices and it's only gotten worse as they've added more content over the years. It became almost un

What the hell is going on at apple - iPadOS is a bloody mess.
It takes my iPad 9th gen to zero % battery overnight. Never had this problem until updating to OS 26. I did send a message to Apple. Starting the transition back to Android with a new Galaxy tablet.

Ipad screen problem
the screen acting crazy while charging is a classic sign of physical damage messing with the digitizer especially when there's extra electrical flow. with battery at 66% too you're kinda stuck. check what model it is first if it's older than an iPad 9th Gen repair costs often exceed the value. a bat

What is the most tech illiterate thing a colleague has ever said to you?
That updating my iPad will make my iPad run faster. And that it would fix apps not remotely related to Apple updates. (It’s an iPad 9th gen barely running iOS 26.01 and I’m not updating to 26.5)

what ipad model should i get?
i feel you on apple prices outside the us. for your mix of calligraphy and video editing, you'll want an ipad that supports apple pencil 2 and has decent ram. ipad air 4 or 5 (m1) used strikes a good balance - the m1 handles video export way faster than older chips. avoid the base ipad 9th gen becau
