Replacing an S4U 16K with better option
Not sure why anyone would use that plastic crap they send with the printer. Mine goes straight in the bin whenever I get a new S4U and I have 4. I printed a hanging bracket and I hang my plate to drip inside it without taking the plate off completely. The printer has a like a lip under the screen to

Printer with the most automatic and QOL features out there?
The tilting vat, and self leveling build platform especially have their drawbacks. The tilting vat causing weird failures, generally on prints with large cross sectional surface areas. And the auto leveling build platform just smushes the first few layers, so printing directly on the build platform

Testing the Anycubic Kobra X for 2 weeks (PLA, PETG, TPU, ASA) – first impressions
The Kobra X doesn't move around. It feels fairly substantial to me, and you'd really have to push speeds that frankly bedslingers aren't capable of to get it to wobble like that. I've had mine for maybe about 2 weeks now and I love it. No bed issues, no Clogging, amazing! Top finish and overall the

Things I need to know beforehand
1 - My top recommendation is the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra either 16k or 12k. Pros and cons of each: 16k has a heated vat which is good for unheated spaces as well as better for engineering resins with higher viscosity which print better heated. 16k only has 3-bit grayscale / 6 usable shades of gray (12

Jupiter 2 gets released in 7 days… what your thoughts?
Feels like it is probably rushed because anycubic announced the p1 max and then delayed it to march. Which that felt rushed also because this was announced last year but delayed multiple times. Feel like they both are trying to be first to market with a large printer that actually has a resolution t

Saturn 4 Ultra Horrible Build Quality, Better Alternatives?
hey bumpermy suggestion here is to be patient in the print farm we tried saturn 4U's and yes, the tilty mech is neat but they are kind of shitty printers, we then settled on anycubic m7 pro's However we did just purchase 6x anycubic p1's, which seem like better m7's (ballscrew, more robust, easier t

Camera for M7 Pro?
Short answer is no, Anycubic wants you to buy the P1, which is really an M7 Max split into two vat areas, or one depending on how you use it, I will say that it does appear to be well built and high grade materials, but the M7 Pro is also quite nice and great for professionals. The slicer had the ca

What’s your go-to resin printer in 2025, and why?
The most reliable is my old Epax x1-4k. I don't do much to maintain it and it keeps going year after year. The old Epax machines, especially the X1 series are built very well. It has been less trouble than other machines I've owned from Phrozen, Elegoo, & Reify. Unfortunately I would not recommend a

Looking to buy a resin printer, any other printers I should look at besides the Saturn 16k?
Thank you for that information as I have not ever bought one of these printers, in fact the HeyGears I'm using is my first one 😁 As for Anycubic I'm simply saying this based on the previews of the P1 which do look rather nice.

Anycubic S1 Combo for 400€ - Good starter or big mistake?
Depends. First, 400€ is not a good price. I got mine during Black Friday week last year for 284€. Around 350€ is a good deal. 400€ is more or less standard. The printer itself is debatable. The quality control and general build quality of anycubic is not the best. Print beds vary from very bad to go
