Switching to ABS like resin
I can only speak from my own experience, and I still consider myself a noob when it comes to printing, so it may not be worth much. I used standard resin for almost a year, but with plans to potentially sell model kits, I decided to switch over to ABS-like so that parts would survive potential shipp

Skyrim Serana 1/6 scale bust
You have a 12k. I have a anycubic photon m7 max. I'm only getting 7k. But I like to print big stuff!

Which printer?
It's fine, I've literally plugged them in, they run the self check, and connected to my LAN. I've had consistent prints since day 1. My only failed prints are from trying to see how far I can push blindly. I adjusted exposure time for my prints either 1.8s for minis to 2.0 for larger stuff. A lot of

What would you do with an unopened 1st Gen Elegoo Jupiter?
KEEP IT! Its not that old and there really isn't much available in the way of large scale 3d resin printers right now. Phrozen Mega 8k is no longer in production, the Uniformation Gk3 Ultra is out of stock worldwide and the company is unreliable and the Jupiter 2 is vaporware. The only viable option

Resin printing "arms race" over?
Mega not worth it. OG Jupiter from what I've heard is quite good. Maybe just need some help tuning? Otherwise Jupiter 2 may be good (although auto-leveling) and I've heard Piocreat is also working on a 14" 16K printer. The M7 Max is probably the best currently, if you can get a good copy. Anycubic's

Are there any user friend resin printers out there?
That's good for you, I'm really happy it's reliable for you. I had my Gk3u for 3 months before I refunded it and got the M7 Max instead. Almost half the price, same print quality, and a slew of user friendly features missing on the GK3U. The sensor suite on the Max is game changing and Uni will fall

I've been testing out the NEW PFA from Aorita3D and dammmn is it's AMAZING. It prints as fast as some of the best ACF films we have ever tested and lasts longer!!!
I would normally agree but we have been testing different films from all the main manufacturers costing us a lot of money to find the best films and the results will be in a YouTube video BUT this film out performed every other brand by MILES!! It releases with the first 0.3mm so you can have a lift

Best large resin 3D printer for bigger statues?
Part 3/4 Anycubic M7 Max Pros: -Heated vat -Resin pump -Wifi -Incredible App integration -COB light instead of Matrix, so the pixels are alot sharper -Affordable LCD spareparts price due to it only being a 7k screen -MSRP of 899usd is a great pricepoint, which with Anycubics constant sales brings it

🎄 Anycubic Christmas Resin Giveaway — Show Your Resin Prints & the Stories Behind Them
I coach high school softball, and my daughter plays softball. She bats as a lefty, but is right-handed for throwing. This causes her right elbow to be exposed to the pitcher when she's at-bat, and errant pitches are even more dangerous for players like her. There are a bunch of traditional arm/elbow

Resin printing "arms race" over?
yes and no YES: printer XY resolution has not seen any practical advance in years. 16k on a 10inch screen is just pointless - you can't tell the difference between that and 8k with antialiasing. NO: Main point that I agree with from other replies is that the real disrupter we're waiting for is a bet
