Switching to ABS like resin

I can only speak from my own experience, and I still consider myself a noob when it comes to printing, so it may not be worth much. I used standard resin for almost a year, but with plans to potentially sell model kits, I decided to switch over to ABS-like so that parts would survive potential shipp

Best large resin 3D printer for bigger statues?

Part 3/4 Anycubic M7 Max Pros: -Heated vat -Resin pump -Wifi -Incredible App integration -COB light instead of Matrix, so the pixels are alot sharper -Affordable LCD spareparts price due to it only being a 7k screen -MSRP of 899usd is a great pricepoint, which with Anycubics constant sales brings it

I'm close to giving up. Anycubic m5s leveling.

I had a similar problem, now fixed. When I level my Anycubic M7 Max, I find the levelling card is way too thick. Don’t use the card. Use a normal sheet of paper. This will get the plate much closer to the screen. Also make sure the plate is firmly held into the screen when tightening (not too hard t

Are there any user friend resin printers out there?

I have Anycubic M7 max at the 13-inch range. It's a beast at printing large models. User friendly on the touch panel, it self checks itself before every print. Tells you when you need to replace the fep after so many hours. It auto levels, pressure sensitive, and has a resin pump that can fill or em

Purchasing advice – starting a small resin print farm

I have a Anycubic M7 max, I absolutely love the machine, Photonworkshop not so much. At a 13 inch or so build plate, WiFi, auto-level, heated vat. Everything I’ve thrown at it prints really great. I have the Saturn 3 ultra, great machine, loved if it had a tilt lid like my Creality sky. Found the li

Entry level 3D Printing

Beyond "it was on sale" any reason is perfectly acceptable. A little due diligence is required. AFAIC. There is a definite gain in print detail vs fdm. As long as you realize it requires a different workflow, it doesn't need to feel like a pain in the ass. In the end.. it's a lot of fun. Wear gloves

Voron parts printed on ABS LIKE RESIN

That's interesting, thank you for sharing! I hadn't found that project yet. Yes, I also want it to just work! My main complaints are that it doesn't just work, and klipper + orca just work. It took a bit to get my calibrations from SuperSlic3r transferred over, and I'm not yet used to the UI, but fo

Resin or FDM?

I went resin first printer and it has been fun. With your budget most things are feasible. You'll for sure want a wash&cure machine with it. Most resin printing is very close to each other, big difference will be size of build plate. For first time printing get something with 9 - 10 inch size. Anycu

Refurbished Anycubic printers

I bought 2 refurbished ones so far(both from ebay from Anycubic. 1 Photon Mono 7 Pro and one M7 Max. The M7 Max came with an uneven Build plate. Got a replacement build plate, which was all right. So far no issues with this printer. The M7 Pro worked good for 2 Month, then the LCD Screen got black s

Abs-like resin problem

If you are using Lychee, I ditched the Anycubic settings and started to calibrate using the Lychee profile (the one with the most users) for Anycubic ABS-like v2 on my M7 Max. I ended up not needing to change anything. I tried a few calibration runs with some tweaking but ended up using the default
