The controversy around Bambu is mainly about their closed ecosystem and the move to block third-party apps, not about the quality or reliability of the printers themselves. My regret is not going with Bambu to begin with. I now own 3 Bambu Lab printers. 200, 600, and 1100 hours respectively, the only tinkering I’ve had to do is basic maintenance to keep everything lubed. Kobra S1 has about 300 hours on it, with probably 299.95 hours being problem solving test prints 🤣

Keep in mind you’re essentially a beta tester with the Kobra X, its initial presentation might look promising but it’s not proven long term. I’d recommend skipping the Kobra X and stay with the A1. It’s proven, and with the Anycubic you’re essentially a beta tester at this point. The one thing I learned switching from Anycubic printers to Bambu - you get what you pay for. They cost less, sure. Are they as reliable in the long term? Hell
