What printers would this community recommend?
Just my .02 so take it as you will. Buy an enclosed coreXY printer - the print quality difference versus "open-air" bedslingers is vast, more exotic filaments can be used without so much worry as well. For what it's worth I have an Anycubic Kobra S1 with an Ace Pro and it serves me quite well. The p

What is the best 3d printer for a tight budget? Brain is melting from reviews and software stuff...
I got a couple Anycubic Kobra 3 V2s combos from AliExpress for ~$200 each. Have about 1500 hours on each one and have had minimal issues and maintenance required. I recently got a refurbished Anycubic Kobra S1 combo on eBay and it appeared brand new. Had a few initial issues, but support is very hel

FNAF Trunk Or Treat at School
We love our 3d printers. Definitely helps owning 3 to speed up the printing process. Springtrap was started last year and at the time took about a month or two to print due to speed and time. Adding two more printers helped reduce the print time for Golden Freddy down to a couple weeks (including ad

It's finally arrived! Excited and weary at the same time
Fwiw I love mine, minor grumbles and all - my first FDM so it's been a learning experience. If I had any advice, it would be the common issues I've seen popping up here and experienced myself: - Be wary when changing/removing/replacing hotends - be sure to seat the hotend all the way up when you pul

I love my anycubic kobra s1 combo & you can self repair every part I’ve needed to & the parts aren’t expensive at all.

Another printer question!
Personally I'd go for a CoreXY enclosed if possible, for a few more $. A bit more complex, but better print quality in general, enclosed can help as you get beyond PLA and PETG for filaments, etc. A few that are decent options at mid-level price ranges: AD5X: https://amzn.to/4tfYNXi Q2C: https://amz

Alternative 3D Printer Options to the Bambu Labs Printers
Here's some general options. Of course, also Prusa, e.g. Core One, but depends on price range you're trying to stick to. And yeah, I went Prusa instead of BL for some of the listed reasons. Plus really, the INDX will be better than the H2C/Vortex, although it's still neat. AD5X: https://amzn.to/4tfY

What to buy
Personally, if you can stretch it, I'd stay far away from an Ender, and prefer a COreXY machine over the bedslingers today- they're a bit more complex, but faster, generally better print quality, and are or can be enclosed to print more advanced materials. Between those two, I'd probably do the A1 m

This deal was nuts!
The only thing I wish it had was a contained filament system, like my AnyCubic Kobra S1 where it can dry the filament and store all 4 spools. That was a real steal, I got the S1 Combo for about $450 at the time. It’s been a great machine, I have about 800 hours on it so far. My ATF is still my Flash

Torn Between Bambu P1S and Anycubic Kobra S1
Technical differences on paper aside, I can only speak from my individual experience. I have the Kobra S1 Combo with over 1000 printing hours. Nothing is perfect, but it has been a great printer for me and Anycubic has always responded well to any problems.
