The last Kindle I purchased for me is the Amazon paperwhite kids. But it’s not for a kid, it came in a bundle with a better warranty and a case, and was a better deal than buying the same Kindle paperwhite on its own.

Yeah. I’ve been there. What helped was them going to school. lol. What also helped was losing my shit and telling my husband he had to take the kids OUT 3+ hours every weekend. You need time to rest in your safe space. Eventually you’ll start to feel better once you have some time alone. Maybe your

I can't comment on the durability of any, as I've never had a problem with Kobo, Kindle, Boox, or PocketBook. But I also baby my electronics, so that nothing happens to them. The big difference for me, is that Kobo sells official OEM replacement parts through iFixit. That gives me piece of mine, tha

When Amazon launched the FreeTime app for kids (2011-ish IIRC) I remember allllll the parenting groups online talking about how it'd be so beneficial for kids, especially young kids, because there were so many learning apps and the earlier kids learned how to use tech, the better it'd be for them --

If you for sure want a 7” screen and no color, kobo isn’t an option since the kobo libra colour is their only 7” device currently. I have one and like it a lot, but some people have strong opinions about the color screens. It is nice to just go to the overdrive tab on the device and browse and borro

I have the following. I should also add that they are all second hand from Facebook marketplace with the exception of one. The most I paid was $150 for the 2024 kindle scribe. The least I paid was $5 for the 10th gen Paperwhite. I recently found the 2024 Paperwhite in raspberry at a thrift store for

I bought myself a Kindle Paperwhite Kids after I had my first baby to get back into reading. I wanted a hobby for myself and it worked, I read 52 books that year. Then I got pregnant with my second baby and any free time I had was spent sleeping. That year I asked for a Kobo Libra Colour for Christm

We just got my 7 year old a Kindle Paperwhite kids. It comes with a 2 year full warranty against drops, etc. It also comes with 12 months of Kindle Kids plus. You can set up parental controls to put on age restrictions. He carries it everywhere.

There is a good chance of battery being dead. You can get a replacement if you want, buuuut you also have a better option: trade it in to Amazon and get 20% discount on new Kindle. There is currently a sale for Kindle Paperwhite Kids edition. It is technically the same as regular one, but comes with

For you, just grab another Paperwhite - they're solid and you already know they last forever. For your son, the Kindle Paperwhite Kids is probably your best bet. Built-in parental controls, backlight, same durability as the regular models, and comes with a cover. The main issue is color - Kindles do
