Which ereaders would you recommand for a family?
Just about any android ereader will do text to speach and most have speakers. For yound people I would not buy a ereader they are very fragile and expensive for what they are. You would be better off buying a small led tablet. A ereader is really for a few purposes, if you have eye problems reading

Where to start with a paper type e-reader?
Kindle ppw are waterproof. Long battery life. If you buy the kindle kids edition about $20 more, they come with a cover and a 2 year unlimited warranty. Worth the money if a young kid is going to use it. The regular warranty 8s only 1 year and will not cover broken s reens
