What’s one piece of technology you aren’t fond of but everyone else is?
...But some old school part of me just hates Kindles. I also use to hate ebook readers with an "old school passion". Then I got one. The convenience of essentially having a library I can carry round with me was just too seductive. (I had a Kindle for several years, but then got fed up with the changes

Why can’t non-verbal autistics talk?
I'm ADHD, autistic, and have a ton of other health issues. I could speak by age 2 and started reading in a headstart program between 2-4. I have a series of medical conditions that affect my muscles. I physically can't speak when I'm stressed or excited because I lose a good amount of control over m

A niche E ink DAP eReader review - the Hisense Touch Lite
Until recently, I’ve been using the Hiby m300 - a device that was technically functional, but I was not super enthused by. I’ve also been using a Kindle for more than 15 years now, and I’m an avid E ink fan. When I realized I wanted to replace both devices, it seemed only natural to look for somethi

Literally pocket sized books for my commute
A Kindle Basic is a pretty "pocket sized" reader which can mean all your books are pocket sized regardless of heft. 🙂

Nice small damn e-reader to read your faves when waiting in line.
I like the look of the tiny eReaders, but I would be so terrified of either losing it, or forgetting I had it in my pocket and I would sit on it. I love my Kindle Basic and my Boox Go 6 eReaders. Shiny kudos to you for creating a good habit over doom scrolling. It really is much more calming to do.

Kindle vs book in hand
My kindle changed my lifeeeee!!!!! I was anti kindle for a long time because I love the feel and smell of real books but now I’m exclusively a kindle reader. They’re so much more portable, I love being able to change the font size & night mode. I love highlighting passages on my kindle to go back to

Is a Kindle worth it?
yes, especially if you read at night or read for long periods of time. the kindle basic may be a better option for you as it’s smaller and lighter:)

What is your fatfire guilty pleasure?
I don’t protect stuff I can easily replace. For example, I have a Kindle basic that I love and use all the time. It’s tiny, simple, and problem free. I don’t have a case on it because I like how small and light and easy it is to hold. If you go on the Kindle subreddit, there are people who put so mu

What books are teenage girls reading these days?
If she likes books and she’s 17, I honestly think you should get her a kindle and maybe a gift card too if you’re feeling generous. A kindle basic is around $100, but is frequently heavily discounted during prime day/ Black Friday. If you’re in the US, a kindle is the best device to have for library
