Yes. It's a premium product for VOCs specifically. If your concern is particulate matter, they're good but not worth the price, but if the concern is chemical exposure, they're unbeatable. What's the best quality air purifier for home you've ever used? Have you found a noticeable difference?

AllerAir ... created bad odors in my home!! Anyone else experience this?
I'm sorry to hear about your experience, that is so frustrating. I have an Airmed 3 Supreme and 3 Allerair Pro 6 Ultras and find that they're just as fresh as my IQAir GC MultiGas, and I have MCS and am extremely sensitive to smells. I've changed these filters twice and the air is fresh each time. G
