Omg same thing happened to me My nvidia gpu is busted and my alienware m15 r6 runs on intel gpu. I switched it to Nvidia (busted) from bios and now it starts to windows and I hear the welcome sound but no display. Tried connecting to monitor to no avail and battery reset. My Alienware m15 r6 has a motherboard issue where my gpu fan doesn’t work anymore, I’ve replaced my heatsink/ thermal paste and it’s sitting around 40c just for videos but gaming is cooked on it lmao. IMO replace the thermal paste on your heat sinks immediately because it dropped my temps by 20c deg
