Deliberately Burning In My QD-OLED Monitor - 15 Month Update

Nope. Here is the AW3423DW I used for gaming but also working from home with static content, after about 2.5 years of full time use.I got it replaced under warranty and sold the new one. I use a mini LED now as a compromise.I loved this monitor, and this took some time but burn in can happen and I w

For those who have purchased an OLED monitor, do you regret it or would you recommend it?

I bought the aw3423dw when it first came out, $1300, still using it today and no visible burn in. I think if you want some peace of mind, get the newest gen QD-OLED panel (is it on 4th gen now?) from a vendor with a 3 year warranty and enjoy the incredible boost in visuals for all content. The only

AW3423DWF owner on my 3rd unit due to recurring coating issues - Dell offering refurbished same model each time - is this really the best they can do?

Just went through this with Dell and my AW3423DW - was just at the end of my warranty and noticed some burn in. They first sent a refurbished 3423, which ended up having even worse burn in and a rattling g-sync fan. I had to go back and forth for about a week, but told them how disappointed I was an

Anyone here use a oled monitor? How is burn in?

Burn in hasn't been a big issue for me using hyprland with an AW3423DW. It's most noticeable with a solid dark gray image, that's for sure, and I did get mine replaced for free under warranty due to visible burn in after almost 3 years, but if that hadn't been an option I wouldn't have been bothered

Updated: Dell refuses to repair or replace a AW3423DW monitor they bricked

I hit the same issue recently when trying to upgrade the firmware on my AW3423DW. Black screen, monitor pretty much unresponsive to any button input. OSD doesn't come up. Power cycling doesn't help. I managed to unbrick it! I basically retried the firmware upgrade after fresh boot of my PC. Since th

Play Wow on oled monitor!

i have a Alienware 3423DW QD-OLED with HDR and i do can recommend the monitor a lot but in WoW it does not make a big of a difference. With a game that is HDR supported like assassins creed, its mindblowing. Edit: I got Burnin after 2 years, the spells were clearly visable on a grey background, it g

"Dell’s warranty service is a comedy show. Except I paid €300 for the ticket."

Very different from my recent experience having an aw3423dw replaced on warranty. I expect having the third party retailer in the mix really complicates the process.
