Deliberately Burning In My QD-OLED Monitor - 15 Month Update
Nope. Here is the AW3423DW I used for gaming but also working from home with static content, after about 2.5 years of full time use.I got it replaced under warranty and sold the new one. I use a mini LED now as a compromise.I loved this monitor, and this took some time but burn in can happen and I w

For those who have purchased an OLED monitor, do you regret it or would you recommend it?
I bought the aw3423dw when it first came out, $1300, still using it today and no visible burn in. I think if you want some peace of mind, get the newest gen QD-OLED panel (is it on 4th gen now?) from a vendor with a 3 year warranty and enjoy the incredible boost in visuals for all content. The only

VR as a home cinema/theater replacement?
I do. I never liked watching movies in vr, but it finally passed the threshold for me with a bigscreen beyond 2. It’s lightweight, OLED, pancake lenses and has high enough resolution. It’s the first headset that checks all of the boxes. I ditched the audio strap and use Sennheiser 650s with an amp.

Game Ready & Studio Driver 595.59 FAQ/Discussion
For one...even on a normal OLED, VRR is still very useful most of the time. Takes somewhat wild framerate swings to induce notable flicker, or quite a low framerate (at least on a lot of models, some are pretty bad though, I'll admit). For two...OLEDs with hardware Gsync modules that bring them to t

Nvidia releases first G-Sync Pulsar update to deal with artifacts below 90 FPS, plus a new 60Hz mode
I'm really interested in Pulsar monitors but I don't know if it's worth swapping to from my AW3423DW OLED. I love the colors, but I am a pretty competitive gamer... and honestly, the idea of old games that are locked to 60fps feeling more 'crt-like' just kind of sounds awesome.

OLED monitor recommendation
Damn that's a solid build, the 9800x3d is gonna crush souls games For OLED I'd say look at the LG C2/C3 42" if you want the best bang for buck - can usually find them on sale and they're perfect for single player games. If you want something more monitor-sized the Alienware AW3423DW is still great b

Switching from a 5070ti to a 5090 for 5k2
That's a first. I never read someone jumping up two gens to the best gaming GPU in the world, having regrets, unless they got ripped off price-wise. I have the aw3423dw and going from that to the 49" OLED I used to have was a big jump to me, but it's a preference thing. I now have the Neo 57" and it

Drawbacks of Mini LED that no one talks about
Ah, well the aw3423dw is a 1st gen panel, so I understand your perspective. Mine is a 3rd gen, aw3225qf, and each gen has been improving on the black raise issue. 4th gen is supposed to come out soon with a new coating that might have similar performance to WOLED, but that remains to be seen. I have

OLED Monitors
I have the AW3423DW (2022) and have burn in especially for lost ark. It could come to all oleds. It’s a question of time and usage. I mainly use it for lost ark and skill bar and midscreen bright notification symbol which always Pops up After some time. (Stronghold Song is notorius) I Hope the best

Freesync vs gsync vs adaptive sync
Damn you really like to defend evil multi-billion dollar companies like AMD from their own failings. we know this, because nvidia is not just selling "g-sync ultimate" branded va monitors, but straight up oled monitors, which have inherent flicker as rtings pointed out. Well for one thing OLED flick
