tl;dw No, because you can't get it for $500 and because comparable $530 Alienware AW2725D exists.

O Alienware

How much is the Dell Alienware over in the USA? I just got the 280hz 1440p QD-OLED for £344 in the UK, model number AW2725D. Just set it up and it's fantastic value for money.

I have that Alienware AW2725D sitting in my room waiting to be returned. I couldn't stand the QD-OLED fringing. Some people don't find it bothersome, others like myself find it unbearable. I'm currently using an LG 27GS95QE WOLED and I'm waiting for the recently released 280Hz Tandem WOLEDs to becom

If you can afford it, yes. Anyone who tells you otherwise doesn't have an OLED. I recommend you avoid QD-OLEDs though. QD-OLEDs have more issues in my opinion compared to WOLEDs. I recently returned an Alienware AW2725D QD-OLED monitor, and I can't recommend QD-OLEDs after experiencing their purple

Thank you for your work! Just tested on my Fedora 43 install. I'm a noob at Linux, don't judge me harshly. Exactly me. Finally got a QD OLED in the last week, Alienware AW2725D - 1440p, 280hz and I’ve not noticed any VRR flicker or banding, both of which I was worried about. I don’t notice ABL on HDR 1000 either, realistically the difference in full screen nits between 400 and 1000 is about 30nits so it

Alienware AW2725D(F). Same brand, newer generation. Listing other alternatives will take 5 paragraphs because this is quite a vague question.
