You're probably overthinking it. I've got an Alienware AW3423DWF about 2 years old. During the day I use it as an external monitor connected to my work laptop, with largely static Windows screens. After work, I use it for gaming and general purpose Windows usage. It easily gets 60+ hours/wk of usage

34 ultra wide 1440p is the sweet spot for me. I’ve got the first gen Alienware qd-oled and it’s been great with my build.

They should be fairly similar. I run an AW3423DWF alongside an AW2725DF, and I don't see much/any variance between them.

you should go with the Alienware aw3423dwf. the oled panel gives you true blacks and colors that make games look much better than a regular ips display. you can find some good options in this thread

I've overclocked my UWQHD OLED AW3423DWF from 100 Hz to 120 Hz with HDR. It can do 165 Hz without hdr, but only 100 hz with hdr out of the box. Have managed to get higher frequency than 120, but wanted to stay at the 2x 60 Hz threshold to reduce tearing. Been running that for a couple of years by no

I switched from the AW3423DWF to the AW3225QF because the ultrawide just didn’t have enough vertical height or pixel density for me. The jump to 4K OLED clarity is massive. Do I miss ultrawide? Yeah, sometimes. But would I ever go back to a 1440p ultrawide? No chance. The only thing that would pull

If you’ve got some extra clams lying around I highly recommend oled. I got the Alienware aw3423dwf on a pretty decent sale and I love it. It’s a 165hz panel though, but I choose fidelity over frames so 165 is pretty good for my needs.

I RMAed a AW3423DWF for burn-in and they gave me a refurb AW3425DW that was in perfect condition.

QD-OLED like Dell AW3423DWF or something like that, I use that and it's incredible.

Aside from potential cost issues, any reason you don't want OLED for work? I'm running the Dell Alienware AW3423DWF and have been for the past couple of years. I use it 8-10 hours pretty much every weekday for software development and in my free time for video editing and gaming. It's been superb fo
