Recommendations for a purifier that will run 24/7
Just purchased a couple Alen Flex machines after loads of research. Didn't feel I needed all the bells and whistles that come with newer models. It is being phased out but uses the same filters as 45i, the lifetime warranty was a big plus.

ALEN Air purifier, filter replacement.
I'm sticking with Alen and their filters. I like the lifetime guarantee. I will watch what happens with this lawsuit though. FYI, it's only the 45i and flex that are being addressed in this class action suit, not sure what that means, but I would think they would include all models if they had teste

Need air purifier safe around bunnies -- AirDoctor 3500?
Unfortunately I believe the AirDoctors also have an ionizer that can be toggled on/off. (According to Google search, and the panel I see.). So given the risk of even accidentally turning it on....(And forgetting/not knowing to turn it off...) id also consider avoiding this unit for your particular c

My first air purifier for my living room! Help!
I would look into Alen 45i Flex, or units from Winix, Levoit, or Coway. Alens are quiet and good for both VOCs + particulates, with their best filters, and come with a lifetime warranty if you stay in the filter replacement program. (I think 90 bucks every 9 or 12 months, your choice.). However if y

Is the Alen BreatheSmart FLEX Pure 4 any good?
I work for Alen and the flex is a solid unit. No smart features, just plug it in, turn it in and let it run. They're pretty bulletproof.

Right now it’s 42 degrees and 40 mph winds and “feels like 26 degrees”. Is this the new normal for Chicago in January?
I got the Alen Breathesmart Flex with the Fresh filter that has the most activated carbon in it. I got this one because it has decent amount of activated carbon in its filter, it was aesthetically pleasing, and I could buy it with FSA money. The other models are more expensive and have things I don’

AirDoctor versus Coway versus Levoit
If you can afford 800 then probably consider AustinAir, people on here seem to hold it in high regard and one of their good units is 750 I think. I could never afford that, and have never had Air Doctor,.so I can't say anything on that. I do love my Levoits but they are good affordable units, that l

Did I buy the wrong air purifier?
I recently purchased 3 different levoit air purifiers from Amazon for my mom's place and they were all horrible. Ive been testing them out for about a month. My allergies became worse. They were also advertising as a true hepa when they are not and they are being sued for that. I went and ordered th

Looking for the best air purifier I can pick up at a physical store. Ohio USA
Alen Air all the way. Tried just about every purifier sold From Target, Walmart, Kohls, Home Depot, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Menards… Almost all went back Shark used to be good, but their newer filters smelled like chemicals and they were super loud. Germ Guardian was ok, but quality dropped. Dyson is a jo
