Looking for a basic, no frills purifier
The Flex model has carbon, I have one. You choose the filter you want. So you get their best filter, I think 90 bucks at 450i size, has carbon + more material than most affordable hepa units. 60 dollars is just hepa. They have a middle one in between for like 70 or 80. So for good carbon, get the be

Will an air purifier help with stale air in a poorly ventilated apartment?
First, I want to start by saying I feel your pain and wish you well. In a space that small, with your budget, I would say table/pedestal fans and paying close attention to cleaning are going to make a much bigger difference. I’m not saying you’re dirty or you don’t clean, but oils from cooking can b

Need air purifier safe around bunnies -- AirDoctor 3500?
Unfortunately I believe the AirDoctors also have an ionizer that can be toggled on/off. (According to Google search, and the panel I see.). So given the risk of even accidentally turning it on....(And forgetting/not knowing to turn it off...) id also consider avoiding this unit for your particular c

My first air purifier for my living room! Help!
I would look into Alen 45i Flex, or units from Winix, Levoit, or Coway. Alens are quiet and good for both VOCs + particulates, with their best filters, and come with a lifetime warranty if you stay in the filter replacement program. (I think 90 bucks every 9 or 12 months, your choice.). However if y

Did I buy the wrong air purifier?
I recently purchased 3 different levoit air purifiers from Amazon for my mom's place and they were all horrible. Ive been testing them out for about a month. My allergies became worse. They were also advertising as a true hepa when they are not and they are being sued for that. I went and ordered th

Best air purifier for allergies that'll actually last?
Alen 45i Flex, so Alen has a lifetime warranty if you stay in filter replacement program. One of the only brands in the industry with a lifetime warranty. It doesn't move air super-fast though, but slow and steady. Aldo I think 400-450 with the Flex being 50 cheaper with no smart features + no ioniz

Looking for a basic, no frills purifier
Alen 350i or 450i, the 450i Flex has no ionizer and no smart features, and is 50 dollars cheaper. The 350i might be big enough, definitely for smaller room. So they have more carbon in them than most hepa based units, if you get their best filter. However, VOC focused in will still have far, far mor

air purifier available on Amazon that can really handle smoke
Either of these Alen options are so much better. I’ve tried several different models of different brands, and none of the others really did the job for me. Broke my heart that they just wind up in the landfill when you return them. The 45i is really worth it. There’s an Alen Flex on Amazon for $350,

Looking for the best air purifier I can pick up at a physical store. Ohio USA
Alen Air all the way. Tried just about every purifier sold From Target, Walmart, Kohls, Home Depot, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Menards… Almost all went back Shark used to be good, but their newer filters smelled like chemicals and they were super loud. Germ Guardian was ok, but quality dropped. Dyson is a jo

Good option for baby nursery NOT Coway and No ionizer?
Thank you for the suggestions will check both out. Was curious if any thoughts on Medify Air? Was looking at this spreadsheet and they appear to be pretty good. The 200s CADR seems to be under the Coway 240, but not sure if the amounts matter that much? The Alen Flex looks good as well. https://docs
