I use akg 702, previously i had akg 701, both very good.

This is true in my experience. It explains why my AKG 701 easily out performed my Stax SR-44 electro stats. (And both beat my Sennheiser 660, apple earbuds, and a bunch of other earbuds I have. Just DYI.)

it doesnt really matter too much at that price range its more about preference and feel. ideally you can go to an audio shop near you and test them out. if not you cant really go wrong with beyerdynamic, sennheiser, akg, hifiman or audio technica. theres probably brands im forgetting. ive personally
