NordVPN has begun profiling its users!

AirVPN is sketchy AF. One time, they announced that a server of theirs was seized. EIGHT YEARS before they announced it and started deleting any posts calling them out for it:https://www.reddit.com/r/vpns/comments/1bsj5yn/sketchy_move_from_airvpn_after_server_seizure/ ProtonVPN admitted they employ real t

Do you all use VPN when torrenting? If you do, what are you all using?

Proton, wire guard via binhex container. Used nord, worked fine but it can't do port forwarding for seeding properly, tried airvpn but it was a mess, barely worked, when it did it performed terribly dropped it after 2weeks and the software was they use holy, this was written by Terry Davis himself I

When I use any VPN I can't connect to any site using cloudflare.

I see that sometimes with both ExpressVPN and AirVPN. If it’s a site that accepts my payments, I complain and send them diagnostic info. If they tell me to drop my VPN connection, I explain that as a former security engineer, that would open my system to security threats. They usually open it up, bu

Unusably slow?

It's been pretty bad as of late, VPN industry as a whole is experiencing a lot of surge in users. It doesn't have to affect airVPN specifically but say, if other popular VPN are hosted in same datacernter and sudden influx of new users can cause slowdown for other services too.

Unusably slow?

Not sure about that, all the servers that have been the most reliable for me in the past are now rated 1-2 stars (at best) for speed within the AirVPN window, so I'm inclined to think they've gotten slower, but my system could be part of the problem..

Will AirVPN add servers in Australia?

Dropped due to Australia's dodgy internet laws The problem with that is that if you live in Australia, you cannot access a lot of Australian content unless you are not using the vpn/are split tunnelled out. If living in Australia the ideal is to connect to NZ for the most part, but to be able to use

Anyone know an actual reliable VPN for China?

It's more expensive than AirVPN but it's cheaper than Express, and it actually connects.

My first Linux experience (CachyOS): What I liked, what I hated.

I installed CachyOS and Mint, in a tri-boot configuration with Windows, to try them out. Mint is definitely better out of box for a noob. I was able to get AirVPN working easily with Wireguard through their software client, Eddie. On CachyOS, I could not. I can't get the client to install correctly
