You are probably going to get the flu. Here is what I wish I had done to prepare.
Wearing masks once you get sick to reduce the spread is great, but wearing masks ahead of time to avoid catching it in the first place is even better. For things like shopping, doctor appointments, and school/work, masks help stop the germ spread. Another great way to reduce spread within the home i

best (budget friendly) air purifier?
For pretty close to that price range (assuming USD), the AirFanta 3Pro is by far the best bang for the buck you'll find. Barely over 1 sqft footprint and over 700m3/h CADR. It's basically a pre-built CR box kit, but looks a lot less janky than some filers and duct tape.

Best Value Air Purifier? (Coway, Winix, Blueair, Shark, Sans, etc)
Please read the AutoModerator comment. Air purifiers aren't good at reducing visible dust as it's larger and heavier than "invisible" pollutants like PM10 and PM2.5. The same goes for pet hair. Sans is terrible. Shark is mediocre. Avoid both. Coway is generally one of the highest quality consumer-gr

Pet owners… what’s the best air purifier you’ve actually kept long term?
AirFanta 3Pro. Nothing else comes anywhere close to the CADR for the price and it's not even that expensive.

Tips for a Teacher
Just a couple points of clarification: a good filter for a classroom does not need to be HEPA to significantly improve the air quality. Corsi-Rosenthal style filters using PC fans like Clean Air Kits, AirFanta 3Pro, or Nukit Tempest all clean more air for cheaper and with less noise than a similarly

Flu, covid, viruses and school absences
To reduce the spread of illness in your kid’s classroom, I highly recommend donating or lending an air purifier. Check out HouseFresh.com, they independently review air filters. You want one that is very quiet and also powerful. Something like a Clean Air Kite Luggable XL or a Nukit Tempest is great

air purifier that can withstand travel??
AirFanta 3Pro. It will take up some space in your luggage but it has a high CADR (clean air delivery rate) for the price. It's a good deal IMO.

HEPA filter for home
If you haven’t done this yet, before looking at any specific models and deciding on a whim, I would decide what sort of ACH (air changes per hour) that you’re looking for, the CADR necessary to achieve that (and achieve it at whatever decibel level you’re comfortable with, which is oftentimes overlo

Friendly message from an urgent care RN
Yes definitely! I usually recommend the airfanta 3pro as its great at cleaning large spaces quickly. Speed is very adjustable. It also breaks down and fits into a larger tote, it fits in my carry on if I need to bring it when I travel. It is a little spendy but definitely worth it imo. Alternatively
