Air Purifier for Extremely Hairy Dog
Unfortunately no. Dog hair is very large and heavy compared to "invisible" pollutants like PM2.5. A purifier will only capture hairs shed very close to the purifier's intake. You can capture more dog hair with something like a DIY Corsi-Rosenthal box with MERV 13/14 furnace filters and PC fans. But

Recommendations for Solid CADR
Not much to prescribe given your budget. The other user is right—the Winix C909 at Costco is going to be the best value HEPA purifier with higher CADRs. It's on sale for $159.99. You'll need to buy two. CADRs given for the Winix apply to the highest airflow speed/setting only. Lower settings have lo

help me choose an air purifier
Purifiers aren't good at reducing visible dust particles as they're large and heavy compared to "invisible" pollutants like PM2.5. Most common purifier brands (like Levoit, Winix, Coway, Medify Air, Honeywell, Blueair, etc.) have very little activated carbon or other sorbent media for gases/vapors/o

If I have to hear one more doctor or healthcare worker say "we're not mandated by the hospital or state to mask, so I'm not going to wear one" I swear to god I am going to snap!
I have an AirFanta 4Lite. Trouble is, I have to be on a treadmill and can't hold it front of my face. I have a 3Pro that I take with me sometimes but I've been forced to turn it off more often than not. Plus, if the tech or doctor are sick, they would be breathing right in front of my face, so it ki

Need a single air purifier for entire 650 sq ft apartment
You won't reduce visible dust with a conventional HEPA purifier unless you buy multiple hugely oversized units. This would be loads of money. Visible dust is large and heavy compared to "invisible" pollutants like PM10, PM2.5, and PM0.1. See the sticky post at the top of this subreddit. Our FAQs pag

Best SMALL air purifier that can reduce vocs and mold?
Something that would be for VOCs only would be the Oransi TrueCarbon 150C. It uses 3.2 lbs. of potassium permanganate (KMnO₄) impregnated activated carbon. But I don't think it's available in Europe. Unsure if this will be too big, but you can disassemble the AirFanta 3Pro with activated carbon. The

Cheapest air purifiers for a 20x20 room? For cat litter
I encourage you to try the Arm and Hammer slide. I was using Naturally Fresh and my Winix 5500-2 and AirFanta 3Pro didn't really help with the occasional smells when my cat wouldn't bury her poop. Changing the litter took care of the smell.

Good air purifier for a 600 ft² studio apartment
Unfortunately purifiers aren't good at capturing cat hair as it's very large and heavy. Per the AHAM 2/3 rule, a 600 sq. ft. space needs minimum Clean Air Delivery Rates (CADRs) of 400 CFM. If you have allergies, it's wise to choose even higher CADRs. The Winix C909 has a top Smoke CADR of 323 CFM,

My first build to fight the crazy Delhi NCR pollution!
Did you read this article from Joey Fox? Intro to Activated Carbon Filters I’ve done a basic test myself with the Alex MegaVoc, and it performed the best compared to the AirFanta 3Pro with carbon and True sense with Noctua fan. What really convinced me though was how fresh outdoor air beats everythin

Hair salon air purifier help
This is a big space. You won't be able to find just one purifier that will do the job. Ideally, you'd have source capture air cleaning devices or systems. But these are thousands of dollars. Calculations per the AHAM 2/3 rule to find particulate Clean Air Delivery Rates (CADRs) are below. 1,200 sq.
