I think there is a design flaw concerning CR boxes with multiple PC fans
From Wikipedia, a 5-filter standard C-R box has a CADR of 650-800 CFM depending on speed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corsi%E2%80%93Rosenthal_Box The Air Fanta 3Pro, which uses 4 PC fans claims a CADR of 436 CFM when overvolted a bit to 13 V. https://air-fanta.com/products/airfanta-3pro So, you're

I work next to an asphalt plant that spews out dust and fumes, is there anything I could do?
Do you have air purifiers in your office? You can also monitor air quality and gather data so you have something if you need to take it further. It won't be doing your health any favours that's for sure. https://www.ohsrep.org.au/asphalt_and_bitument_fumes Personally I'd wear an N95 respirator when ou

Portable air purifier when traveling
I haven’t seen any good car solutions but I brought an AirFanta 3Pro to a conference for my hotel room and it was great. I let it run on max for about an hour before I unmasked. I masked at any point not in my room and despite it being a true chorus of coughs the entire conference, did not get sick

Recommendations Needed for Air Purifier
i love my airfanta 3pro! especially if you're toting it between work and home, it breaks down and is easy to transport. if that's out of your budget and you can leave it in your office, you could also look into making a diy corsi-rosenthal (cr) box. as someone who's been forced to go to conference r

I just want to cry
I’m so sorry. That sounds like a nightmare. I hate that neighbors can make or break one’s entire experience of their own home… I really feel for you. Two potential mitigations come to mind. Air purifiers and particulate respirators. I would recommend the AirFanta 3Pro on Amazon, I believe it’s avail

air purifier that can withstand travel??
AirFanta 3Pro. It will take up some space in your luggage but it has a high CADR (clean air delivery rate) for the price. It's a good deal IMO.

I'm Lost on How to Get Better Air for 1800 Sqft House: HVAC Filter or Air Purifiers?
You have great instincts, going for portable air cleaners. The Airfanta 3Pro will easily handle your 10*15 room. It is super quiet as PC fan based. It is also very packable to take to hotels, etc. it is better than #1 on this list because of the sound. https://housefresh.com/best-air-purifiers-we-te

Friendly message from an urgent care RN
Yes definitely! I usually recommend the airfanta 3pro as its great at cleaning large spaces quickly. Speed is very adjustable. It also breaks down and fits into a larger tote, it fits in my carry on if I need to bring it when I travel. It is a little spendy but definitely worth it imo. Alternatively

air purifier that can withstand travel??
AirFanta 3Pro is made specifically for that case pretty much. And is probably more powerful than the units you were using before. (Probably lighter too.)

What air purifiers for home use are you loving lately? How is the AirFanta 3 pro? Thank you!
I love the AirFanta 3Pro! Been using it in my studio apartment for a year and have brought it on trips since it dis/assembles so easily. It's quite powerful for its size, and the dial allows you to adjust it precisely. I usually keep it on a 3 or a 4 for regular use, and it's pretty quiet.
