You are probably going to get the flu. Here is what I wish I had done to prepare.

Wearing masks once you get sick to reduce the spread is great, but wearing masks ahead of time to avoid catching it in the first place is even better. For things like shopping, doctor appointments, and school/work, masks help stop the germ spread. Another great way to reduce spread within the home i

I think there is a design flaw concerning CR boxes with multiple PC fans

From Wikipedia, a 5-filter standard C-R box has a CADR of 650-800 CFM depending on speed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corsi%E2%80%93Rosenthal_Box The Air Fanta 3Pro, which uses 4 PC fans claims a CADR of 436 CFM when overvolted a bit to 13 V. https://air-fanta.com/products/airfanta-3pro So, you're

I think the AirFanta 4Lite might have been a dumb purchase

Mine isn’t noisy. Maybe reach out to AirFanta and query if something is wrong. For an enclosed room the 3Pro would work better since the 4Lite is really meant for times like when you have to unmask to eat; it doesn’t clean a whole room.

Tips for a Teacher

Just a couple points of clarification: a good filter for a classroom does not need to be HEPA to significantly improve the air quality. Corsi-Rosenthal style filters using PC fans like Clean Air Kits, AirFanta 3Pro, or Nukit Tempest all clean more air for cheaper and with less noise than a similarly

I just want to cry

I’m so sorry. That sounds like a nightmare. I hate that neighbors can make or break one’s entire experience of their own home… I really feel for you. Two potential mitigations come to mind. Air purifiers and particulate respirators. I would recommend the AirFanta 3Pro on Amazon, I believe it’s avail

I'm Lost on How to Get Better Air for 1800 Sqft House: HVAC Filter or Air Purifiers?

You have great instincts, going for portable air cleaners. The Airfanta 3Pro will easily handle your 10*15 room. It is super quiet as PC fan based. It is also very packable to take to hotels, etc. it is better than #1 on this list because of the sound. https://housefresh.com/best-air-purifiers-we-te

HEPA filter for home

If you haven’t done this yet, before looking at any specific models and deciding on a whim, I would decide what sort of ACH (air changes per hour) that you’re looking for, the CADR necessary to achieve that (and achieve it at whatever decibel level you’re comfortable with, which is oftentimes overlo

Best air-purifier for small meeting room - no masks worn

Airfanta 3 pro has a very high CADR to decibel ratio. It blows clean air upward. It will probably be too loud on max but try to get it turned up as high as you can. Any other air purifier that uses PC fans will also be quieter, like North of but I dont think their CADR to noise ratio is as good. If

What air purifiers for home use are you loving lately? How is the AirFanta 3 pro? Thank you!

I love the AirFanta 3Pro! Been using it in my studio apartment for a year and have brought it on trips since it dis/assembles so easily. It's quite powerful for its size, and the dial allows you to adjust it precisely. I usually keep it on a 3 or a 4 for regular use, and it's pretty quiet.

Possible to craft a folding box?

Buy an Air Fanta 3 Pro from Alex Wong! He’s an engineer from China who developed a collapsible CR box of his own, using the same idea but designing a frame where you don’t need tape or screws to attach it all together - the parts all fit like a 3-D jigsaw puzzle. And it disassembles to fit inside a
