Wearing masks once you get sick to reduce the spread is great, but wearing masks ahead of time to avoid catching it in the first place is even better. For things like shopping, doctor appointments, and school/work, masks help stop the germ spread. Another great way to reduce spread within the home i

From Wikipedia, a 5-filter standard C-R box has a CADR of 650-800 CFM depending on speed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corsi%E2%80%93Rosenthal_Box The Air Fanta 3Pro, which uses 4 PC fans claims a CADR of 436 CFM when overvolted a bit to 13 V. https://air-fanta.com/products/airfanta-3pro So, you're

Just a couple points of clarification: a good filter for a classroom does not need to be HEPA to significantly improve the air quality. Corsi-Rosenthal style filters using PC fans like Clean Air Kits, AirFanta 3Pro, or Nukit Tempest all clean more air for cheaper and with less noise than a similarly

Do you have air purifiers in your office? You can also monitor air quality and gather data so you have something if you need to take it further. It won't be doing your health any favours that's for sure. https://www.ohsrep.org.au/asphalt_and_bitument_fumes Personally I'd wear an N95 respirator when ou

Please read the AutoModerator comment. Air purifiers aren't good at reducing visible dust as it's larger and heavier than "invisible" pollutants like PM10 and PM2.5. The same goes for pet hair. Air Fanta 3Pro is a good model, and Levoit and Medify are other good brands. Another effective way to reduce illness is to find a comfortable, high quality m

Mine isn’t noisy. Maybe reach out to AirFanta and query if something is wrong. For an enclosed room the 3Pro would work better since the 4Lite is really meant for times like when you have to unmask to eat; it doesn’t clean a whole room.

I’m so sorry. That sounds like a nightmare. I hate that neighbors can make or break one’s entire experience of their own home… I really feel for you. Two potential mitigations come to mind. Air purifiers and particulate respirators. I would recommend the AirFanta 3Pro on Amazon, I believe it’s avail

To reduce the spread of illness in your kid’s classroom, I highly recommend donating or lending an air purifier. Check out HouseFresh.com, they independently review air filters. You want one that is very quiet and also powerful. Something like a Clean Air Kite Luggable XL or a Nukit Tempest is great

Good point. I travel with an AirFanta 3Pro too. I've been surprised by how easy it is to set up.
