Getting My Daughter in to Vinyl
Sounds like a great idea! Looking up the Adam Audio T5V, it looks like they are studio monitors, and you'd need a separate volume controller to adjust them and keep them in sync. For a TT-centric setup, I'd generally recommend something that's designed to work as normal powered speakers instead, wit

Wow.. synthesizers just got a million times cooler after getting a subwoofer!
does a sub make sense in an untreated room? if yes: i've got a pair of Adam Audio T5V. naturally i'd pair them with their T10S sub, but a lot of people don't seem to like it, because of it's standby-feature. is there a better sub i could combine them with?

50yrs old and still enjoy setting up
These B&Ws are a tinge on the "bright" side, compared to the previous Adam Audio Artist 5 & T5V. But those are proper monitors, so it's not a fair comparison to begin with haaaha The Missus has already had her eyes on the Marantz and I'm actively looking at Line Magnetic & Cayin tube amps, which I h

Hello guys, I just bought a pair of Adam Audios T5V (my first studio monitors) and I was quite surprised at the amount of noise coming from the tweeters (sounds like white noise). Is this a common issue with the T5Vs? I can hear it clearly at a 2 feet distance, even when disconnecting them from my i

Been lurking, finally posting….heres my FLX10 setup.
how do you like them? I tested out some speakers at a store last week and ended up with some Adam Audio T5V, which sounded fantastic in store, but now that I've used them at home with my DDJ-1000 I think the bass is lacking too much; will probably return. Nowhere around me has the VM-50s in stock to

Powered speakers
alto tx408. cheap and also does bluetooth wireless. I've only used its predecessor like the alto tx308. It gets bassy but distorts easily on the high end. It definitely sounds much boomy than the adam audio t5v.

I've seen some good comments on unbalanced output and grounding, but I get a lot of noise from my Scarlett Solo (or Presonus Audiobox 96 USB, same problem), paired with Adam Audio T5V, using unbalanced output. Should I buy XLR to 1/4" cables to use balanced output to reduice the noice or I shall inv

Confusion about studio monitor price vs accuracy
Frequency response is good to get a general idea of the character of something, but very poor at actually genuinely comparing something. Additionally, the way measurements on speakers are done are not standardized, are up to the manufacturer. I think a lot of the difference in these two graphs can b
