What monitors are you rocking and do you rate them?

Adam Audio T7V with T10S sub. Works great in my room.

Subwoofer recommendacíõns

Well first off, Yamaha HS8s have rear-slotted bass output, so they should not be placed up against a wall; they should have at least some space behind them. I like those speakers and sold plenty of them when I worked at GC, but they can produce a little bit too much high treble. (Fair warning) (I'm

Studio monitor recommendations for beginner studio

Forget about bluetooth for decent studio monitors. Bluetooth is for party speakers. I highly recommend Adam Audios, I have the T7V's for years and I will never change. I was slow to add in the T10S sub as it is so much more money again, but I do not regret it. You will realise the difference it make

August 2025 update

Many thanks! They're Adam Audio T5V's with a T10S subwoofer. You can play audio just fine at lower volumes, but maybe leave out the subwoofer then. The sub is not a good idea in an appartment...

Looking for a serious system for a desk!!

How close will you be sitting from the speakers? Will they also have a secondary set of listeners behind them? If the speakers are being mounted at least eight feet from you then the KEFs will be fine. Otherwise you would need near field speakers as they have a different dispersion wave than far fie

Krk Rokits or Adam audio?

I have Adam Audio T7V with the T10S. The sub makes a massive difference. If you are producing bass heavy techno, don’t skip the sub.

2.1 Speakers for PC (~1000€)

As far as I can tell, your old system (specifications) claimed that the speakers (3-inch; 87dB/W/m; ~130Hz@-3dB) each delivered 62W and the subwoofer (10-inch; 88dB/W/m; 35Hz@-3dB) delivered 188W, thereby covering a frequency range down to 33Hz@-6dB. However, a weakness in the system was that there

Studio Monitors

Why not just get an Adam Audio T10S since you already have T8Vs? It goes down to 28Hz and has a 85Hz high-pass filter switch. When you run your T8Vs through the sub, that filter cuts the bass out of the T8Vs so they can produce cleaner low-mids. Then just set the LF switch on the T8Vs to -2db and yo

Passive speakers for vinyl DJ

I have a pair of JBL L52, I recently upgraded to a pair of beautiful Shahinian Super Elfs. OP, if you're in the UK you can have the JBLs, mint and boxed for £450 plus shipping. Oddly enough I also have a pair of Adam T5Vs with a T10s sub also, which I had before the JBLs. I really need to get rid of

Purchasing piano or taking lessons?

Buy a better digital piano and put the extra money toward lessons or a good sound system. From what you’re describing, it’s like you are riding a kid’s bike and wondering why driving a Lambo feels so different. There are plenty of solid mid-range digital pianos with weighted keys that bridge the gap
