Small/desk speakers to start DJing at home — worth going bigger for future use?
Adam D3V were going for 250€ in black week. More than enough for a desktop application. USB-C connection, so no audio interface needed. But also has 1/4 inch inputs. More clear, analytic sound thanks to the ART tweeters, but surprising bass response from these small guys. Many reviews on YouTube.

Anyone here using Genelec 8010 as home dj monitors? are they good or too small?
Side note: I agree that the style/finish of genelecs looks amazing and at some point I will get the 8030 as 8010 (which I had) does lack bass and I think it will be a struggle to mix music on it. So I replaced them with Adam audio d3v for my desktop speakers which I also use for corporate video prod

Recommended settings for edifier r1280 series bookshelf speakers
ASR review of Edifier R1280T. It’s unknown if the other R1280 series models have the same output. Or what is the unit to unit variation like. Therefore you might not be able to EQ your speakers solely based on Amir’s units. (Maybe you would need to get UMIK-1 and use REW etc..) On that forum Maiky76

Do these tweeters look wrecked?
Then place them next to each other on top of some narrow, rambling cabinet. PS. I made the mistake by testing my desktop Adam Audio D3V for fun next to my main setup LS50 Metas. I mean, the ribbon tweeter clarity is just nuts on those.

Problem with “bright” Lewitt LCT 240 Pro microphone
I saw some reviewer who said you can't get decent condensers for vocals under $300. They are like monitors. $100 for a 3.5 doesn't really cut it. They are pretty good at best. Mackie, Presonus, M-Audio, etc. The only exceptions are Adam Audio D3V and iLoud Micro. Those guys can actually pull off 45

The line between desktop and studio speakers
Today, I have Adam D3V, as travel and digital piano spakers. They sound pretty good, and I recommend considering them as an option. The sound is full and rich, though a little treble heavy and I think the -2 dB HF setting is close to the correct tonality profile with them. I know that they look like
