Desk speakers - 1-2k budget

I myself use a couple of Adam A7Vs (measurements) in combination with a MOTU M4 (ASR; although a smaller M2 would also suffice). The Adams have a much crisper bass than the KEFs I mentioned, but if you have any questions you can add a subwoofer in the medium term.
