I myself use a couple of Adam A7Vs (measurements) in combination with a MOTU M4 (ASR; although a smaller M2 would also suffice). The Adams have a much crisper bass than the KEFs I mentioned, but if you have any questions you can add a subwoofer in the medium term.

Low end bass on any of Adam audio monitors are not good at all, I have the A7V’s…..I send most of the bass to my subwoofer. Sending low freq to any of the monitors will create distortion.
